Lagos East APC Women Leadership Pays Solidarity Visit to Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Ikorodu Federal Constituency
Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Ikorodu Federal Constituency, recently received the leadership of the APC Lagos East Senatorial District Women Wing on a solidarity visit, during which they reaffirmed their commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and expressed confidence in the capacity of the RHA Coordinator, Comrade Japheth Odesanya, to mobilize massive grassroots support across the constituency.
Leading the delegation, the Lagos East Senatorial Woman Leader, Hon. Deaconess Wonuola Aderibigbe Oshinowo, commended the various people-centered initiatives of President Tinubu, particularly the NELFund programme. She described it as a remarkable intervention that is opening doors for many Nigerian students. She further advised universities to communicate directly with parents of beneficiaries, noting that many students do not always inform their parents when they receive such support.
The delegation also praised the ongoing infrastructural transformation across Lagos State, highlighting the extensive concrete road construction projects from Ikorodu Garage towards Sabo and other parts of the state. They equally applauded the Lagos State streetlight initiative, describing it as a major intervention that has significantly improved safety, security, and visibility at night.
In his response, Comrade Japheth Odesanya expressed appreciation to the women leaders for the visit, describing it as timely and encouraging as preparations intensify for future political engagements.
“Women are so important in politics. If we remove women from politics, we will be left with nothing because they constitute the majority in our society,” he stated.
